Nov 20th after 3rd service all My Friend's Backyard & CJ'S house volunteer meeting. Lunch is provided. 1:00-3:00. Yearly update and future plans. There will be specific area breakout time with some teacher training. Child care upon request.
Our childrens ministry theme is called My Friends Backyard. We have programs for children birth thru 6th grade at all of our weekend services and on Tuesday evenings.
Are you looking for a way to get your children connected with other children? Are your children asking questions about God? During mid-week Bible study we have music, crafts, snacks, singing and dramas. There is also a unique service project once a quarter that prompts your children to serve others and live out their faith. Tuesday nights are a place where your children can find the answers to the question that they might have from what they learned on Sundays. This is a great time for families to participate together and strengthen their relationship with God
Please take heart that at “My Friend’s Backyard” in the nursery, your children will receive plenty of love and affection while you are able to worship and enrich your walk with God. In “My Friend’s Backyard” at the toddler area we promise that we will be more energetic than your children! The toddler area is able to use small amounts of time to provide a big impact in many ways of learning. When you drop off your children, you can expect them to explore with their hands and eyes. They will learn that God wants to be their friend, and will have an opportunity to make new friends also. After seeing how much fun they have, you might even want to stay and play too. Saying “I’m bored” is never an option in the elementary area at “My Friend’s Backyard”. With small connection groups, large group “hands on” teaching and creative worship there is always something fun available for every age. Being able to learn basic Bible essentials, and then apply it in their life is the goal of the elementary area. There’s never any homework or obligation when you come to “My friend’s Backyard”.
